Laptop Battery Cycle?
Everytime you charge your laptop, I know you use a charge cycle. What if you were charging your laptop while using it, than the laptop battery got full but you still use it while it charges to avoid loss energy. Will doing this use additional battery cycles?
Well if it's a MacBook, MacBook Pro or Air Apple allows a certain number of limits for cycling a battery knowing this one should should use the battery wisely. Apple laptops do say that there are cycles however some companies don't state this yet it does follow suit as all battery have a certain lifetime.
As to your question letting the laptop battery drain as low is good also this will allow for a better discharge giving you a longer use of the unit. Letting the battery sit in the laptop while connected to the computer for weeks at a time and not using the battery does put wear on it I take mine out. Also others will say there is "Memory Batteries" and that you need to let it "Deep Drain" this to get the full usage out of the battery the newer batteries are better made from Lithium where the older batteries were Nimh and NiCd.
