Laptop buying advice : How is a Laptop Battery Life?

I have found another laptop that has caught my eye on www.battery-replacement.org, i was just hoping to get some thoughts on how the two, the best buy IBM and this SONY would compare in performance. I am a college bound guy looking to make an investment in something that will be able to last for a couple of years and still take on games and stuff.

 I saw that it was a more beefy (heavy) laptop and I don't think that is what I need. Going into college I need something that I can do classwork on and some gaming, not a lot though, whatever new Civ comes out TF2, maybe some more stuff, but I do need something that is portable with a decent laptop battery life and am willing to compromise some power. I have found this ASUS and I saw that it had the same kind of laptop battery life as the sony but wanted to get some feedback on it.

 Hey its looks good.I think this laptops life will definitely comes for couple of years. before you buy read review of the particular model it will be very helpful to get details bout pros and cons of this model.
