Hp laptop battery won’t hold charge?
I have an hp 510 laptop battery,it is used almost two yr,but my hp laptop battery won't hold charge any more,how i can do for it.
your battery of your hp won't hold any charge because it may be worn out or your laptop battery has worn out but all you have to do is buy a new battery for it and it will hold charge.
If your computer is in warranty contact HP Support with your computer turned on so you can answer any questions they may have.Genuine replacement batteries are costly.
See the HP website for spare parts ( Have your computer turned over on it's back) so you can input the model, serial numbers etc.And/or check the battery code (on the battery) on battery stores for low price.
You'll have to buy a new one. HP laptop batteries don't last very long, especially if you keep your computer perpetually plugged in. I currently have two that only hold a charge for about 10-15 minutes from a one year old computer. I typically replace every four or five months.
